What are the fees to attend?

Unless you qualify for a free place or bursary support (see below), fees are set at individual rates, as follows:

* The concessionary rate applies to nurses and allied health professionals, lay members of Clinical Ethics Committees, and members of the Institute of Medical Ethics (IME).


What funding is available to support attendance?

Support is also available to cover the costs of attending this conference:

Subscribing members of UKCEN: If your Clinical Ethics Committee is a paid-up member of UKCEN (i.e. a subscribing member that has paid its annual fee), your Committee is entitled to one free conference place (the free place may be used to attend either in person or online).

UKCEN bursaries: A limited number of bursaries are available from UKCEN to cover registration fee and travel/accommodation up to a maximum value of £300 per applicant; these will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. These bursaries are available for: lay members of Clinical Ethics Committees; and nurses and allied health professionals who do not have access to study leave funds. Please apply for a bursary by completing and returning the attached form. The closing date for applications is 29 May 2023. Applicants will be notified by 5 June 2023.

IME student bursaries: Students can apply to the Institute of Medical Ethics (IME) for funding to support their attendance at the conference. Information on how to apply can be found here.
